Join us for a new series of screenings in the library's Montalbano Family Theatre highlighting the complexity of Marvel movies. Are you feeling overwhelmed by superhero fatigue? Has Marvel strayed too far its comic book origins? With intricate plots, numerous characters, and a specific viewing order, you might find yourself wanting to revisit the excitement of the fandom on the big screen.After the movie, there will be an opportunity for a short discussion with other audience members.

This month we will be screening Guardians of the Galaxy V.2 (2017)!
Vol. Two continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand.
