Join us for an unforgettable afternoon with Martín Espada, National Book Award winning poet and Professor of English at University of Massachusetts -Amherst, as he shares selections from his powerful new collection, Jailbreak of Sparrows (Knopf, 2025). With more than twenty books to his name, Professor Espada is a literary force whose work blends empathy, justice, and lyrical brilliance in acclaimed poetry collections, including Floaters, Alabanza, and Imagine the Angels of Bread. Professor Espada will give a 45-minute reading followed by a book-signing and reception.
