Comedy legend Doug Chappel (Triple M, The Weekly, The Project) MCs the night.

The venue has ample dedicated car parking at the rear at 6 Pratt Street, Ringwood – for easy rear access to the Firehouse Garage Bar where the show will be held.

Marty Fields began his stand-up career in 1987, playing the comedy circuit in the hotels and clubs of Australia. Marty Fields is a rapid-fire power station of material and one of the big guns on the Australian comedy scene.
Marty enjoyed a four-year run on Hey, Hey, It’s Saturday, was resident comedian on the game show Blankety Blanks and a regular guest on Battle of the Sexes. He is also currently developing a sketch comedy show for network television. As the best-selling author of three comedy books, Marty is recognized as the authority on one-liners for every possible topic.
Marty recently returned from the United States where he performed at the famous Improv in L.A., Vegas, and the New York Comedy Club. It is Marty’s ability to adapt to suit the taste of his audience that has allowed him to dominate both the corporate comedy scene as well as the more hard-edged pub circuit. He’s an author, a Herald Sun columnist and a regular presenter on Melbourne radio 3AW.

The key to Marty Fields’ success is his versatility, having achieved popularity in comedy, acting and music.

In 2005 Marty was inducted into the Australian Comedy Hall of Fame. Marty has won the “Mo” award as the best stand-up comedian in the country twice. His Facebook joke page has gained huge popularity, with one gag recently gaining over 18,000,000 views.

Doug Chappel is a professional comedian with over 27 years experience, and is widely regarded as one of Australia's best live stand-up comics. A multi award winning performer, Doug recently won the prestigious ‘Laughie Award’ for ‘Best Australian Act’ 2024, and the 'People's Choice Award' for best comedian for 2023 during the Melbourne Comedy Festival season. Doug was also part of Triple M radio's 'Poets Day Friday' for 2 years, has appeared on numerous TV programs, been the headline act in some of the world's biggest Comedy Clubs & has performed on 5 continents in nearly 20 countries; including the US, Asia, the Middle East, and the UK.

Additionally, Doug has had sold out Comedy Festival shows, entertained the troops in countries like Afghanistan, Dubai, the Solomon Islands and East Timor, performed on cruise ships, some of Australia's most prestigious venues, such as The Sydney Opera House, Marvel Stadium, and the MCG, and has worked alongside acclaimed comedians such as, Dave 'Hughsey' Hughes, Jimeoin, Fiona O'Loughlan, Tommy Little, Kathy Griffin (US), Pauly Shore (US), Bert Kreischer (US), Joe Rogan (US) and Chris Rock (US).

Doug has also had periods of homelessness in his youth, and grew up in culturally diverse suburbs, in low socioeconomic areas, therefore, Doug is sensitive to the challenges many people face and is able to deliver his comedy in a likable and non-threatening fashion... but don't let his working class past fool you; Doug also has five degrees, including two Masters degrees, an Honours degree in Science and Psychology.

The night features sets from killer comedians from the comedy festivcal, Dave Greaves (Suburban Legend, Aus), Brendon Kinch (NZ), and Sweeney Young (Neighbours, Aus).

The venue has negotiated directly with distilleries to secure drink specials for the night.
