George Warren is a Dunedin-based PhD student, guitarist, and singer/songwriter. Originally from Christchurch, George has a deep appreciation for blues and folk-rock music. He has experience singing in choirs throughout New Zealand, and his fingerpicking guitar style is self-taught. George also plays the bass guitar in “Martinette and The Temps”. George’s debut EP ‘Stargazer’ was recorded completely by himself in a haphazard bedroom setup in 2024.
Martinette is a singer/songwriter and self-published author. She released an album ‘Sweeping Statements’ in 2014 and EPs ‘Bittersweet’ in 2024 and 'Bittersweet B-Sides' in 2025. Her debut novel 'Everything She Wanted' will be available for purchase at the gig.
After meeting George in 2024, the duo have dabbled in singing originals and covers, and have recently written their first song together.
