Inspired by early Cure and the Brighton scene, Martin’s career started as a busker aged 15. Martin developed his song-writing technique, taking inspiration from jazz, blues, country, skiffle and more – eventually this masterful mix of genres would become his musical trademark throughout his career.His band The Daintees became a busking sensation and were signed by Kitchenware, They went on to tour with the likes of Aztec Camera, The Bluebells, Roy Buchanan, John Martyn.
