Punktem wyjścia jest napięcie między lękiem a pragnieniem bliskości. To trudność odróżnienia własnych uczuć od tych przejętych od innych. Zdekonstruowane, geometryczne postacie oddają stan rozproszenia - moment, w którym emocje zaczynają się nakładać i nie sposób zlokalizować ich źródło. Maskowe twarze i zarysowane gesty, inspirowane cyrkową estetyką, przywołują rytm ról powtarzanych na co dzień. To doświadczenie osoby pochłaniającej emocje innych, wspierającej i niosącej ciężar cudzych historii, aż do chwili utraty kontaktu z własnymi uczuciami.
Wraz z rozwojem cyklu forma łagodnieje: kolory stają się cieplejsze, a kompozycje otwierają się na światło i przestrzeń. Ta zmiana formalna równolegle odsłania transformację emocji - powrót do wewnętrznej równowagi i kontaktu z samą sobą. Cykl układa się w wizualny zapis samopoznania: od chaosu i zależności, przez ich konfrontację, aż po moment zbliżenia się do swoich emocji.
„Ciężar bliskości” to opowieść o dojrzewaniu do obecności, która wybiera autentyczność zamiast poświęcenia.

The starting point is the tension between fear and the desire for closeness. It is the difficulty of distinguishing one’s own feelings from those absorbed from others. The deconstructed, geometric figures reflect a state of dispersion — a moment when emotions overlap and their source becomes impossible to trace. Mask-like faces and outlined gestures, inspired by circus aesthetics, evoke the rhythm of roles repeated day after day. This is the experience of someone who absorbs others’ emotions, supports them, and carries the weight of their stories, until eventually losing contact with her own.
As the cycle unfolds, the forms begin to soften: the colours grow warmer, and the compositions open up to light and space. This formal shift mirrors an emotional transformation — a return to inner balance and a renewed connection with oneself. The cycle becomes a visual record of self-discovery: from emotional chaos and dependence, through confrontation, to a moment of drawing closer to one’s own feelings.
“The Weight of Closeness” is a story of growing into a presence that chooses authenticity over self-sacrifice.
