Join us for the 2024 Marshall Health Network Stigma Symposium! Powered by The Maternity Center at Cabell Huntington HospitalDate: Thursday, May 9, 2024
Location: Harless Auditorium, located on the ground floor of Cabell Huntington Hospital beside Marshall Pharmacy Time: 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The inaugural symposium will address issues of stigma in healthcare and review strategic approaches to inclusivity and fairness when providing care. Attendees will also hear from experts on the topics of nurse burnout, social determinants of health and the importance of language when addressing patients and families.
This is a free community training that is open to all healthcare professionals. This program will provide up to 3.75 CNE’s to participants who complete 100% of the symposium. Light refreshments will be available.
