Journey to Planet Mars at Gloucester Cathedral this October!Experience the wonders of Planet Mars right here on Earth within the sacred walls of Gloucester Cathedral with Luke Jerram's Mars: War and Peace from 15 October – 3 November, during Cathedral opening hours.
Visitors will have the chance to see Luke Jerram's incredible seven metre sculpture of Mars up close in the Cathedral Nave, accompanied by an immersive soundtrack in the surroundings of our stunning dramatic space. The artwork features detailed NASA imagery of the Martian surface and is on rotation.
Plan your visit during day-time Cathedral opening hours to explore the installation at your leisure. Entry is by voluntary donation.
A diverse and packed programme of activities accompanies this exhibition, including special evening viewings, yoga and more!
