Topic Explanation:
In this talk, titled "Marrying Science and Spirit,” Phyllis will explore how modern, science-based healing modalities and ancient shamanic practices can work together to create the fullest holistic approach to wellness. This presentation will cover information about what the chiropractic physician does, which includes functional medicine--nutrition, peptide therapies, acupuncture, and emotional counseling, alongside shamanic rituals which include altered states of mind; journeys, and divination. She will discuss how combining both the scientific and spiritual healing offers a comprehensive, multidimensional approach that addresses the root causes of physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances. The session will include an interactive element, where the audience may experience shamanic divination firsthand, using her tool of the drum to easily arrive to her altered state to provide insight into each person’s healing processes.
