Hello Marrowers,

It’s that time of year again - come and join us for a jam-packed day of lifesaving at our Regional Conferences!

From presentations, to training updates, workshops, discussions and, of course, socialising over lunch - we have all the essentials covered to ensure your committee has time to reflect and plan together for the rest of the Marrow year.

As we’re halfway through an amazing year of lifesaving, we recommend that you send at least two members of your committee to the regional conference.

Do you have some amazing volunteers, that have the potential to become incredible committee members next year? Then please do encourage them to attend so they can continue your lifesaving work on campus.

How many members of my Marrow Group can attend?

Whilst we recommend that at least 2 of your committee attend the regionals, we’d be grateful if, due to cost, you could limit your group's attendance to 6. Of course if you’d like to bring more than 6, please get in touch with your Marrow Team steward before you book.Regional conferences are a great idea to introduce keen volunteers to Marrow committee - If you have any super keen volunteers who would like to attend, they can sign up too!

I'm not sure which Regional Conference to attend?

You are welcome to attend any Regional Conference (but be sensible and please attend the one closest to you!). If you are unsure which you should attend just ask your Marrow Team steward.

Can I expense my travel?

Yes! Please take into consideration the cost, travel by the cheapest way and book your travel ASAP. The expenses form is available on SharePoint and you can send your expenses to us ([email protected]) as soon as you have booked. If you have any concerns about the cost of your travel, please speak with your Marrow Team steward.

Can I stay overnight?

We don't provide overnight accommodation for the Regional Conferences except for in special circumstances. Speak to your Marrow Team steward if you think you will need an overnight stay. Accommodation booked without approval will not be expensed.

Will food be provided?

Yes! Breakfast & Lunch will be provided along with refreshments throughout the day. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when you book a ticket.

Is there a deadline to register?

Yes! Please register by Friday 6th Jan so we can ensure we have food for everyone.
