The Doreen Maronde Professional Recital Series resumes this spring on Mondays and Tuesdays at noon in Polsky Theatre and Yardley Hall. Now in their 36th year, these hourlong, in-person recitals feature some of Kansas City’s most respected professional classical and jazz musicians.On Monday, February 24, the Ruel Joyce Series kicks off with a performance by Vince Gnojek (saxophone) and Ellen Sommer (piano).
On Tuesday, February 25, the Frank Smith Jazz Series begins with a performance by the Nate Nall Quintet.
