✨ Festival Spectaculare přivítá 16. března 2026 v pražském CAMPu dvojici ikonických osobností německého ambientu – Joachima Spietha a Markuse Guentnera, kteří zde představí svůj kultovní label Affin. Platformu založenou v roce 2007 definuje propojení zvuku a vizuální identity, organických textur a digitální estetiky. Do Prahy tak poprvé dorazí nejen zakladatel Affin, ale i jeho vizuální tvář, aby společně uvedli večer zasvěcený atmosférickým krajinám, kontemplaci a pečlivě tvarovanému ambientnímu zvuku. Hudbu obklopí vizuály připravené přímo pro tuto událost, citlivě odkazující k ambientnímu světu a vizuálnímu rukopisu labelu Affin.
✨ Affin je německá hudební platforma, kterou v roce 2007 založil hudebník Joachim Spieth. Žánrově se pohybuje mezi ambientem a deep technem a klíčové je pro ni propojování zvuku a vizuální formy. Proto je každý release Affin součástí jednotné grafické identity, kterou vytvořil Markus Guentner a jež míchá organické a digitální. Affin se soustředí hlavně na albové releasy, kterých vyšlo už ke dvě stovkám. Důležitou součástí diskografie vydavatelství jsou kolaborace umělců nebo kolektivní kompilace.
✨ V pražském CAMPu tvorbu Affin uvede jeho zakladatel Joachim Spieth. Na hudební scéně se pohybuje už přes dvě dekády a jeho tvorbu definuje výjimečný cit pro detail a schopnost vtahovat posluchače do svých atmosférických kompozic. Spiethovy začátky jsou spojené s vydavatelstvím KOMPAKT a jeho tracky najdeme na kompilacích Pop Ambient nebo v mixu The Orb v sérii Back to Mine. Od roku 2007 šéfuje vlastnímu labelu Affin, který se pod jeho vedením stal vyhlášenou mezinárodní platformou pro ambientní hudbu. Sám zde vydal několik chválených desek (Irradiance, Terrain, Overlay, Retrace) a jeho skladby remixovali
alva noto, Pole nebo Abul Mogard. Je také autorem série Textures, na níž vytváří zvukovou knihovnu. Spieth působí také jako DJ, hrál už ve třiceti zemích na festivalech jako Up To Date (Białystok), Mostra (Barcelona), nebo Ambientalny Festival ve Wrocławi. Teď poprvé přijíždí i do Prahy.
✨ Markus Guentner je kromě grafického tvůrce také klasikem současného ambientu a neoklasické hudby. Na konci devadesátých let debutoval na kultovním labelu KOMPAKT, na jehož proslavené sérii Pop Ambient je slyšet několik jeho příspěvků. Pracoval na hudbě k filmům, v domácím Řeznu spoluzaložil kolektiv Sublime a nebo hudební projekt Stareaway.
Od svých raných experimentů s dub technem postupně ořezal beaty a posunul se více k ambientu. Guentner často a rád vyhledává hudební kolaborace – například album Empire
vzniklo společnými silami s hudebníky jako Rafael Anton Irisarri, Julia Kent či bvdub.
✨ Spectaculare tak fanouškům nabízí ambientní rituál, který nechá Prahu na jediný večer ponořit se do jemných vrstev zvuku a světla a promění prostor CAMPu v místo tichého soustředění a společného prožitku.
Akce vzniká ve spolupráci s Institutem plánování hlavního města Prahy a prostorem CAMP.

✨ On March 16, 2026, the Spectaculare Festival will welcome two iconic figures of German ambient music to Prague's CAMP – Joachim Spieth and Markus Guentner, who will present their cult label Affin. Founded in 2007, the platform is defined by the interconnection of sound and visual identity, organic textures and digital aesthetics. Not only will the founder of Affin be coming to Prague for the first time, but also its visual face, to present an evening dedicated to atmospheric landscapes, contemplation, and carefully crafted ambient sound. The music will be accompanied by visuals prepared especially for this event, sensitively referencing the ambient world and visual style of the Affin label.
✨ Affin is a German music platform founded in 2007 by musician Joachim Spieth. Genre-wise, it ranges between ambient and deep techno, and its key focus is on connecting sound and visual form. That is why every Affin release is part of a unified graphic identity created by Markus Guentner, which blends the organic and the digital.
✨ Affin focuses mainly on album releases, of which it has already released nearly two hundred. An important part of the label's discography are collaborations between artists and collective compilations.
✨ Affin's work will be presented at CAMP in Prague by its founder, Joachim Spieth. He has been active on the music scene for over two decades, and his work is defined by an exceptional attention to detail and an ability to draw listeners into his atmospheric compositions. Spieth's beginnings are linked to the KOMPAKT label, and his tracks can be found on Pop Ambient compilations and in The Orb's Back to Mine mix series. Since 2007, he has been at the helm of his own label, Affin, which under his leadership has become a renowned international platform for ambient music. He has released several acclaimed albums here (Irradiance, Terrain, Overlay, Retrace), and his compositions have been remixed by alva noto, Pole, and Abul Mogard. He is also the author of the Textures series, in which he creates a sound library. Spieth also works as a DJ and has played in thirty countries at festivals such as Up To Date (Białystok), Mostra (Barcelona), and the Ambientalny Festival in Wrocław. Now he is coming to Prague for the first time.
✨ Markus Guentner is not only a graphic designer but also a classic of contemporary ambient and neoclassical music. In the late 1990s, he made his debut on the cult label KOMPAKT, whose famous Pop Ambient series features several of his contributions. He has worked on film scores and co-founded the Sublime collective and the Stareaway music project in his hometown of Regensburg. Since his early experiments with dub techno, he has gradually pared down the beats and moved more towards ambient. Guentner often and gladly seeks out musical collaborations – for example, the album Empire was created in collaboration with musicians such as Rafael Anton Irisarri, Julia Kent, and bvdub.
✨ Spectaculare offers fans an ambient ritual that will immerse Prague in delicate layers of sound and light for a single evening, transforming the CAMP space into a place of quiet concentration and shared experience.
