MARKETING YOUR BOOK AND YOURSELF
The Society of Women Writers WA is conducting a Workshop on Marketing Your Book and Yourself on Saturday 6 July 2024 from 12.30pm to 5pm at Citiplace Community Centre in the Perth Railway Station Concourse.
No book ever sells itself! This workshop, run by Helen Iles, Managing Editor of Linellen Press, will show you numerous ways to get your self-published book into the public eye, without a marketing budget.
Helen, the Chairperson of The Society of Women Writers WA, says “This workshop will cover pre-launch promotions, the very necessary Book Launch, getting a following; keeping your book in the public’s eye; social media; book trailers; author talks, and recommended printed material. These methods will work for books that are yet to be released and for books whose sales have stalled.”
Tea and coffee provided. The workshop is open to all writers, men and women. Cost is $100 for members of the Society; $130 for non-members. Bookings are essential as places are limited. Email [email protected] or call 0429 116 395 for a booking form.
