Warm up your winter at Market Street Live, taking over the Market District on Friday 12 June. Start with a wander through the Central Markets for a bite or a bit of shopping, then head over to Market Street as the evening unfolds.
As dusk falls, Market Street fills with live music, DJs and roaming fire performances. DJ Ruby Chew brings her high-energy sound to the decks, while the Jack Degenhart Trio delivers soulful live jazz. The Dragon Mill Fire Twirlers move through the crowd throughout the night, lighting up the streets with bursts of flame and sparkle.
It's an open invitation to rug up and explore, whether that's settling in under outdoor heaters with a glass of red, or drifting between venues as the night rolls on.
Flavours of the Street will be in full swing, with Lot 10 Cucina, Market Street Cafe, Southern Noodle Bar and Simon Taste Chinese BBQ all open and serving.
In the laneways, a pop-up gallery showcases contemporary works by Adelaide artist Frank Grauso, bringing bold visual art into the precinct.
For a rooftop view, Merrymaker Rooftop Bar on level 16 of Hotel Indigo Adelaide hosts DJ and vocalist Lesley Williams, soundtracking the skyline as the night unfolds.
Market Street Live brings together music, food, art and community for a winter night that feels warm, lively and distinctly local.
