About this Event
90% of startups fail. Research indicates that these failures arise because many entrepreneurs focus too heavily on crafting a solution rather than first focusing on the problem and the people who have that problem.
Do you have a great idea that solves a problem that you have, but you’re curious how many other people have this problem too? Or maybe you’re stuck trying to find ways to understand your competitors or evaluate potential partners?
Join us on Monday, February 27th from 6-8pm for a Market Research Fundamentals workshop with Liz Brigham, Director of the Hurt [email protected] where you’ll learn qualitative and quantitative research methods that with help you:
- Determine how many others have similar challenges or problems;
- Assess the urgency and pervasiveness of these challenges and what someone’s willingness to pay for a solution might be;
- Analyze the market landscape to determine your potential competitors, partners, and friends.
The empathy you’ll develop through conducting research will allow for more creativity in solution design and adaptability when customer needs change. Similarly, better awareness of the market, competitors, and other opportunities helps you stand out and be unique.
This class is free and open to the public. Advance registration required.
