About this Event
On Wednesday, June 24, from 3–6 pm, we’re thrilled to bring you Market in Motion — one of the most exciting events of the season! Enjoy a live performance by the Ellen Sinopoli Dancers, live cooking with the Cambridge Food Co-op, the kickoff of our POP Club season, and so much more. Here’s what we have planned:From 3–4 pm, enjoy live cooking and tastings hosted by the Cambridge Food Co-op as part of our Fresh Eats program sponsored by CDPHP. Watch the creation of a fresh and delicious dish using market ingredients along with staples from the co-op — with samples served afterward!From 4–5 pm, the talented dancers of the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company will bring the market to life with a special live performance.From 3–6 pm, children can enjoy mini fruit and yogurt sundaes at the POP Club tent, with gluten-free and plant-based options available. Kids can also receive their first POP Passport stamp and $4 in POP Club coins thanks to the generous support of the Christopher Dailey Foundation.The Saratoga Springs Public Library will be on-site from 3–6 pm hosting a fun craft for children of all ages and abilities, while the Adirondack Literacy Council will be giving away free children’s books throughout the afternoon.And that’s just the beginning! Shop with local vendors offering everything from fresh strawberries and seasonal vegetables to pasture-raised beef, lamb, chicken, baked goods, flowers, honey, and more. Stay for dinner and enjoy ready-to-eat favorites including smash burgers, Mediterranean specialties, BBQ chicken, and fried chicken.Best Buddies International will be on-site sharing information about their programs, and the Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County will be available to answer all your gardening questions.It’s an afternoon filled with food, music, movement, family fun, and community connection — a true Market in Motion. This event will be held rain or shine as we are under the pavilions at High Rock Park.

Info: As part of its 35th anniversary celebration, the company is making 35 appearances throughout the Capital Region, bringing dance directly into the community. Audiences are invited to experience movement up close as dancers perform on a simple mat of interlocking squares, surrounded by spectators.
Featuring works from a repertoire of more than 90 original dances, these performances are intimate, engaging, and accessible to all ages. There’s no admission fee, no stage, no special effects—just creativity, energy, and the joy of movement.

One of the things we're most excited about at Market in Motion on Wednesday, June 24, is a special children's book giveaway hosted by the Adirondack Literacy Council!
From 3–6 PM at High Rock Park, children can choose a free book to take home and keep, helping build home libraries and inspire a lifelong love of reading. Whether your child is a budding bookworm or just discovering the magic of stories, there's nothing quite like finding a book that's all your own.
Bring the kids, enjoy an afternoon of fresh local food, live entertainment, POP Club activities, and leave with a new adventure tucked under your arm.
