Born in Cardiff, Mark spent many years in Brighton then coming home again to Wales, Mark has been a teacher, adult trainer and worked in sales. All of which contributed to his love of telling a good story. Life experiences real and anecdotal are the raw material for his breed of storysong, often extracting the chuckle from just being.
An independent musician, he tours with his camper van enjoying the freedom of the road and the vibe of each location he visits.
Using his guitar as a prop, his songs tell of the usual things like love, money or the lack of either or both, about people and their lives, or of things that crawl at the underbelly of life like death or dog ownership.
Once described as a 'happy Tom Waits', he wears the cloak of Storyteller with pride.'
