Mark Hummel: Grammy Nominee, Blues Award Winner, and Harp Man, with acclaim from Blues Review, The New Yorker, and Chicago-Suns Times. JR Watson: legendary session guitarist who has recorded on over 150 sessions, including Jimmy Rogers, William Clarke, Charlie Musselwhite, and Big Mama Thorton. These two masters take the stage together for an epic night of blues music. Joining them are drummer Wes Starr (Asleep at the Wheel) and upright bassist Kedar Roy (Earl Thomas) for a night of music that will move you heart and soul.

See them live at Almost Famous Wine Lounge, an award-winning, new tasting room and venue located on Vasco Road in the heart of Livermore's wine, spirits and brewery district. Almost Famous Wine makes fifteen wines in diverse styles, and earned 34 top industry awards since our debut last year.

There is a two drink minimum for each guest.

Reserved table seating is available for purchase at this show. Non reserved seating is otherwise available first come, first served. Outside food is welcome, but please bus your table of any food items when you are finished. Only Almost Famous wines can be consumed on premise, but with a menu of 15 wines in diverse styles, there's something for everyone.

Mark Hummel: Grammy Nominee, Blues Award Winner, Author, Harp Man. Grammy nominated for his Remembering Little Walter CD he produced and performed on, Mark also won Best Blues CD and Best Traditional Blues CD at the Blues Music Awards in Memphis, TN. Mark's The Hustle Is Really On climbed to #2 and stayed in the top five for four months on the Living Blues Radio Charts. Hummel's book "BIG ROAD BLUES:12 Bars on I-80" garnered rave reviews and was nominated for best Independent Book release.

JR Watson is the guitarist on Hummel’s Hard Lovin’ 90s( 1990), Lowdown To Uptown( 1997) & Mark Hummel’s Blues Harmonica Meltdown One (2000).Watson has recorded and toured w/Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers 1976-87, Canned Heat 1988-93, Kim Wilson 1993-95, solo projects 1995-present. Watson has recorded on over 150 sessions including Jimmy Rogers, William Clarke, Charlie Musselwhite, Hollywood Blue Flames, Big Mama Thornton, George Harmonica Smith, Luther Tucker, Shakey Jake and countless others.
