📝 Trail Overview

This scenic, well-maintained loop takes you through a moderately hilly stretch of forest with some steady inclines and declines and stunning overlooks of Penacook Lake. Expect a few muddy patches, especially if it’s rained recently—hiking boots are a smart move. The path is mostly shaded, with wide, natural terrain.

• Benches: None along the trail.
• Noise: Some background noise from wind, water, and occasional visitor traffic.
• Pets: Leashed dogs are welcome. Owners are responsible for the removal and disposal of their dogs’ waste.
