*Tell me What You Really, Really Want*
A hero who wants something will act to achieve it. Will fight for it. A great want brings conflict and drama, it is a driving force for character and plot. But what makes a great want? In this workshop, you will be provided with simple yet effective tools to craft compelling and impactful character goals and desires. They will be especially useful for long-form players who aim to tell elaborate stories but will be helpful for every kind of improviser.
*Your Workshop Leader: Mariusz Ciechoński*
Warsaw-based improviser with a decade of experience. Member of a science fiction themed group called Jetpunk. On stage, he loves telling compelling stories and breaking the fourth wall. For the last 9 years, he has been earning a living with his storytelling skills – previously as a journalist, and now as a writer and narrative designer for computer RPG games. In his free time enjoys all the nerdy stuff such as playing board games, video games, tabletop RPGs, painting minis, and reading comics.
Great international teams have come to Munich, and you have the chance to learn from them! A variety of workshops with up to 14 participants will give you an insight into the European improv scene. Unless otherwise stated, the workshops are always led in Easy English, so don't worry.
We also have 3 course levels, so you can learn in a group you'll have the most fun with.
EASY I’m pretty new at improv but have fun trying new things
MEDIUM I regularly improvise and perform
PRO I’m a professional improviser and looking for new impulses to challenge me
