Madison-based Marisa Balistreri Quartet is led by vocalist Marisa Balistreri, aformer professional opera singer. The group features guitarist Stefan Hall, PhDin Medieval English Literature, bassist Jeff Weiss, a multiple MAMA awardwinner and drummer Noah Brooks, leader of the Noah Brooks Coalition.Together they play original jazz tunes by Stefan plus straight-ahead jazz, Latin jazz and jazz manouche covers.
