Arts @ Holy Trinity is excited to kick off its 41st Concert Season! This series focuses on the musical talents of local artists from Northeast Ohio. Join us for an Organ Recital with Mario Buchanan on Sunday, October 6, at 4 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N. Prospect Street, Akron. Mario Buchanan serves as Director of Music and Organist at Christ Church Episcopal in Hudson. Born and raised in Akron, Mario is a graduate of The University of Akron earning a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance. He studied with Valerie Thorson and Nicole Keller. He received the distinction of winning the 2014-15 Concerto Competition at UA, the first organist to win the award. He has also received additional instruction from several world-renowned organists.
Join us for a reception following the concert in the Chapel Lounge. Doors open 30 minutes prior.
