MarineQuest Science Fair Skill Builder

Need help getting your child interested and prepared for the science fair? MarineQuest’s Science Fair Skill Builder series gives 4th-5th grade students hands-on practice with the scientific process while working with MarineQuest instructors who mentor them through every step of their project.
Every Wednesday October 7 - November 18 from 3:30 - 5:30 PM
Age: 4th – 5th grade
Cost: $175 for seven sessions
Location: UNCW Sayed Hall
Materials provided: Scientific journal, trifold, poster supplies, snack
Over seven weekly sessions, students will learn so much about the scientific method and get support on their project.

October 14 - How to develop a question
October 21 - Experimental design
October 28 - The revision process
November 4 - How to analyze data
November 11 - How to make a poster
November 18 - Work on personal projects with mentors
