Marine Biology - 11am - Grades 5, 6, and 7
About this Event
This free, fun, hands-on STEM event takes place at IHMC, 15 SE Osceola Ave., on September 12. Students in grades 3 - 7 are invited. This Science Saturday will be led by Joe Landrum, a science teacher at South Marion High School. Students will participate in three different hands-on activities related to Marine Biology.
Students in grades 3–4 should register for the 9:00 a.m. session. Students in grades 5–7 should register for the 11:00 a.m. session. Each session is tailored to the appropriate age group.
The generosity of the season sponsors, Lockheed Martin, Cox, the Florida Blue Foundation, Publix Charities, and Eleanor and Gary Simons, helps IHMC to offer Science Saturdays free of charge for all attendees.
