All concerts during Marimbafest Week are FREE to attend and no tickets required. Concerts are held at the Callaway Music Auditorium, UWA Conservatorium of Music.

Sunday 3rd July, 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Featuring performances from our faculty and staff artists Dr Matthew Lau, Kana Omori, Spectrum Ensemble, Robert Oetomo, Kaboom Percussion, Paul Tanner, Brian Maloney, Adam Tan, Carissa Soares, Jet Kye Chong, Maddie Colvin, Joey Eng, Li-Jene Gan.
? CONCERT #2: SEMIFINAL STAGE - A CLASS SOLO + OPEN CLASS ENSEMBLE
Monday 4th July, 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Featuring 20 A CLASS soloists and 2 OPEN CLASS ensembles from around the world in live competition semifinals.
? CONCERT #3: SEMIFINAL STAGE - OPEN CLASS SOLO + A CLASS ENSEMBLE
Wednesday 6th July, 3:00pm to 6:30pm
Featuring 15 OPEN CLASS soloists and 6 OPEN CLASS ensembles from around the world in live competition semifinals.
? CONCERT #4: MARIMBAFEST 2022 FINAL STAGE
Friday 8th July, 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Featuring the Top 3 A CLASS and OPEN CLASS soloists + Top 2 A CLASS and OPEN CLASS ensembles, plus final prize results and presentations.
⭐⭐ WHAT'S HAPPENING ⭐⭐
? WE'RE BACK WITH A SOLO AND ENSEMBLE COMPETITION:
Solo marimba competition and percussion ensemble (2-10 players) competition in one week, with opportunities for valuable feedback as well as lots of prizes. In 2022, we're excited to be welcoming amazing participants from all over Australia, as well as Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan and the United States.
? TWO CLASSES OF COMPETITION:
A-CLASS for those under the age of 18, OPEN CLASS for all ages.
? AN AWESOME FAMILY OF FACULTY ARTISTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD:
Please welcome back our amazing lineup of faculty artists from around the world: Dr Matthew Lau*, Kana Omori*, SA Hall* and Jaime Esposito* (Spectrum Ensemble), Robert Oetomo*, Catherine Betts and Joshua Webster (Kaboom Percussion), Brian Maloney, Paul Tanner and Adam Tan (director) + Carissa Soares (associate director).
*Overseas faculty artists will present their classes online during Marimbafest Week.
