Mariachi Las Alteñas — the 14-piece, all-female supergroup from San Antonio — returns to World Music Encounters at St. David’s on March 8 after their memorable first concert two years ago. Their trajes de charro, vocal harmonies and extravagant stage presence packed the church last time. We are proud to host Texas’ celebrated pura mujer mariachi. Come hear seven violins, three trumpets, two guitars, a guitarrón, and vihuela in our acoustically divine 173-year-old sanctuary. Not to be missed!
