Maria Kelly - Sunflower Public House, Belfast

Beloved Irish indie artist Maria Kelly plays her debut Belfast show at the Sunflower Public house as part of her sophmore album ‘Waiting Room’ tour.

Waiting Room follows four years after Maria's 2021 debut album 'The Sum of the In-Between, Which amassed millions of Spotify streams, as well as ten million radio impacts within its first few weeks. The LP rallied support from the likes of Notion, Clash, and Totally Dublin along the way. Now sitting at more than six million streams worldwide.

Her next release Waiting Room is an album of "exploration of the roadblocks, both internally and externally, that keep us feeling powerless and taking away our agency" Maria explains. Maria ruminates on the housing crisis, societal expectations, faded friendships, and more - all through a personal lens, but communicated with a poetic universality as only a double aquaris can.
Maria is taking the album on the road this April making her way to Belfast on the 18th of April for her debut performance. The night will be filled with emotion, storytelling through song and outstanding musicianship.
