ABOUT MARIA AND THE COINS Minneapolis indie pop-rockers Maria and the Coins are marking a new chapter. With the release of their latest single "Something Good,” the fivesome is ushering in a new era of high-energy indie pop rock while still maintaining the lyrical integrity, powerhouse vocals and early 2000s-esque style that defines their sound. Frontwoman Maria Coyne chronicles her journey in love, struggles with depression and anxiety, and finding herself in a vulnerable yet resilient way that leaves the listener hopeful about what can happen when we fight for the light within ourselves and find joy in the little corners of the universe.
