Bosatt i Oslo har Mari spilt en del konserter her, men også tatt med seg musikken rundt om i verden og da særlig til New York. Det siste tiåret har Mari vært en del av musikkmiljøet i Brooklyn og West Village, et svært inspirerende og inkluderende miljø. Det var også gjennom dette miljøet at Mari traff sin mann rett før pandemien. Etter år med restriksjoner, reiseforbud og masse byråkrati bor nå endelig paret sammen i Oslo og kan spille Maris låter som en DUO.
Mari Solberg is a singer-songwriter in the folk pop tradition. The focus in the music is to tell stories with nice melody lines and clear vocals. Living in Oslo, Mari has played a number of concerts here, but has also taken her music around the world, especially to New York. For the past decade, Mari has been part of the music scene in Brooklyn and the West Village, a very inspiring and inclusive environment. It was also through this environment that Mari met her husband just before the pandemic. After years of restrictions, travel bans and a lot of bureaucracy, the couple now finally live together in Oslo and can play Mari's songs as a DUO.
