About your comedians:
Being raised by a single mother; Ronaldo describes, in hilarious detail, what it was like being the only Mexican in his Midwestern family. Ronaldo Mercado’s clever joke writing and personal subject matter has landed him spots opening for major acts all throughout the South and Midwest. He has been a featured performer on the Flyover, Tower City, and Fountain City Comedy Festivals. You can catch him every week as a cohost of the Riff, Laugh, Love podcast.
Taji is a St. Louis based stand-up comedian. You can find her as a regular at Helium Comedy Club and The Funny Bone. She was a semi-finalist in Helium’s Funniest Competition. She was just recently crowned the unofficial STL Comedy Rookie of the Year. Her goofy style provides an escape from the harsh realities of life. She’s worked with John Morgan, Frank Lyles, Jullian McCullough, and Joe Marlotti.
Eric Rueseler is a comedian based out of St. Louis Missouri and is a regular at Helium and both Funnybone locations. Eric uses his life experience as a Husband, Father and Marine Corps Veteran as inspiration for his comedy. In the past six years Eric has had the opportunity of working with nationally touring headliners such as Billy Gardell, April Macie, Kevin Boseman.
Jeff Phipps is a local comedian who runs the Comedy Showcase at Margarita's. He has been on stage in many different places including Seattle, St. Louis, and Kansas City. His comedy from working in many different jobs such as housekeeping, teaching, and newscasting. When he isn't on stage, he is getting sweet dubs on Fortnite.
