Margalla Ridge TrailMargalla hills have a variety of hiking trails and the longest one is Margalla Ridge Trail.where the Himalayan Foothills meet the city of Islamabad,The Margalla Ridge Trail is 50km Long starts from summa, in Khyber pakhtunkhwa and Stretches to Banfaqiran Stupa in Islamabad.
Margalla Ridge Trail(15th November 2025) Hiking pals are heading to the Most Beautiful Hiking Track. We will start our Track from Summa and will finish our hike at Trail4 base.
We will depart early in the morning to start our hike early from Summa. (Target start time is 6:30am). The first part of the hike finishes at PirSohawa road at the start of the Pharilla track. The second part is on the road till Monal. Our transport will be there for the support. This includes the refuelling/restocking water etc and the potential transport back to the city for those who finish their hike there. The final part of the hike will be on the Ridge trail and possible exit at Trail4. .

Distance: 40-44km
