Mardi Gras Scholarship Party

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to partner with the AAMU Magic City Metro Alumni Chapter’s annual scholarship fundraising event. It will be held on March 3, 2023. This event will be held at the historic Boutwell Auditorium.

This year’s event theme is Mardi Gras. AAMU Magic City Metro Alumni Chapter is the second largest alumni chapter of Alabama A&M University in the nation. Every year our non-profit organization raises funds to provide worthy local high school students with scholarships to attend our wonderful institution. For over 65 years our mission has been to enhance, promote and uplift the University’s image through financial support and service.

We are fortunate that Alumni, University Executives, Elected Officials, and Community Members will be present at this event. Your support and presence would be greatly appreciated.

Tickets covers admittance, entertainment, and food. A Cash Bar will be available to those of legal age limit (21) to consume alcohol. Valid ID required.

We invite you to wear your Mardi Gras themed outfits and participate in the Second Line (Mardi Gras Parade).
