I'm hoping that all of my local Team Portland Sleestak members will be there to walk with me wearing thier hats and Tee's and represent Weird Portland United and Team Portland Sleestak. It might be cold so I want you to dress appropriately, of course. I'm not a monster... wait. what?
I'll be renting a passenger trike so I can ride, because even the slowest parade is faster than the Portland Sleestak (seeking young, healthy volunteers to take turns pedaling)
PORTLAND MARDI GRAS PARADE

Each year the Mysti Krewe of Nimbus hosts a Mardi Gras parade for everyone. The parade steps off at 7:00 pm starting near Humboldt St and proceeds down Mississippi Avenue to Cook St., just past Fremont.
This free family friendly event invites all to dress up and come dance in the streets – joining the second line has become a rite of passage in Portland! Krewe members decorate signature mini-umbrella ‘throws’ to hand out to lucky participants.
Many venues along the way will have food and drink specials on parade day and things really get lively on Mardi Gras night, after the parade.
