Marcus Miller to obecny na scenie już od 45 lat laureat wielu międzynarodowych nagród i wyróżnień, m.in. dwóch statuetek GRAMMY® oraz The Edison Jazz/World Award™ za całokształt twórczości. W 2013 roku został uhonorowany przez UNESCO tytułem Artysty na rzecz Pokoju oraz mianowany rzecznikiem The Slave Route Project.
Marcus to twórca, producent, multiinstrumentalista i niezwykle płodny kompozytor. Jego muzykę ukształtowała współpraca z największymi takimi jak Eric Clapton, George Benson, Aretha Franklin, Brian Ferry, Wayne Shorter, Al Jarreau, Herbie Hancock, Carlos Santana, a szczególnie Miles Davis, dla którego komponował, nagrywał i produkował historyczne płyty (m.in. "Tutu").
Występując na scenie z młodymi, utalentowanymi muzykami przemierza świat funku, soulu i jazzu. Na przestrzeni lat Marcus Miller pokazał, że doskonale wie, jak podchodzić do każdego z tych gatunków i znakomicie porusza się we wszystkich stylach z ich pogranicza.

Marcus Miller has a 45-year career, 2 Grammy Awards, the Edison Prize for his entire work, and a Jazz Victory to name just a few of the distinctions and accolades that have been awarded to him around the world. In 2013, UNESCO named him an Artist for Peace and spokesperson for the Slave Route project.
Marcus is a creator, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and an extraordinary and prolific composer. His many collaborations with the greatest: Miles Davis, Eric Clapton, George Benson, Aretha Franklin, Brian Ferry, Wayne Shorter, Al Jarreau, Herbie Hancock, and Carlos Santana, to name but a few, have shaped his musical environment.
