March with UNA Montana in UM's Homecoming Parade
About this Event
Join UNA Montana for the University of Montana Homecoming Parade and help us create a sea of blue.
We welcome people of all ages and abilities to walk alongside the float or ride with us as space and safety allow. You do not need to be a current UNA Montana member to participate.
FLOAT BUILD: In the evenings during the three days before the parade, volunteers are invited to help us build and finish the float at This Old Frat House in Missoula. No special skills are required. Come for an hour or stay longer.
PARADE DAY: Saturday, October 3, 2026. Registered participants will receive final staging, arrival, accessibility, and safety information before the parade.WHAT TO
WEAR: UNA/UN blue if you have it. We want a visible “sea of peacekeeper blue.”
WHAT WE'RE CELEBRATING: UNA Montana brings neighbors together around international cooperation, human rights, sustainable development, peace, and the work of the United Nations - while showing that global citizenship has a home right here in Montana.
Registration is free. Advance registration is requested so we can plan riders/walkers, communicate staging information, and collect the appropriate participation acknowledgment.
