AboutThe Songdo Swap is a fantastic opportunity to declutter your closets, discover new treasures, connect with fellow members, and contribute to charitable causes. We welcome a wide range of items in good condition, including men's, women's, kids', and babies' clothes, shoes, purses, hats, gloves, coats, scarves, belts, toys, books, games, toiletries, cosmetics, kitchen items, blankets, food, jewelry, household goods, and appliances.
Here's how the Songdo Swap works: You bring your items and, in return, have the opportunity to find other things you need or desire. We understand that not everyone may have items to bring at every visit, and that's perfectly fine. You are still welcome to join us and take items that you need. We simply ask that if you don't have anything to bring, you make an effort to contribute in the future. Any leftover items are thoughtfully donated to charitable organizations, ensuring that our swap benefits both our community and those in need.
We have recently faced challenges with waste disposal and recycling in our space. In order to address this issue and cover the associated costs, we have decided to introduce a nominal fee for participation in the Songdo Swap. This fee will also contribute to the shipping of donations to the Philippines, where they will positively impact communities facing various hardships. The charges for the nominal fee will be as follows: 5,000 KRW for individuals, 8,000 KRW for couples, and 10,000 KRW for families.
Please understand that this fee is necessary to maintain the sustainability and integrity of our swap events. It allows us to responsibly dispose of waste and extend our support to those in need beyond the borders of Songdo. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
