Join us for an Exciting Day of Raku Firing!
Experience a fantastic, exciting, and occasionally fast-paced day creating stunning pots using the ancient and dramatic technique of raku firing.
You’ll choose two ready-made bisque-fired pots from a curated selection and, using a wide array of colours, crackle, and iridescent glazes, create your desired effects. After a short firing in the kiln, we’ll use heat and combustible materials to produce fire and smoke, reacting with the glazes to achieve the unique raku style.
Professional potter with over 50 years experience, Gordon Broadhurst will guide you through the process, ensuring you leave with two unique finished pots at the end of the day.
Suitable for complete beginners and beyond.
