Join us for our March New Moon Circle - Honoring our Parts (IFS)

As always this will be an evening of connection, healing, and empowerment. This time, we come together to explore our Parts ... a concept coined by Richard Schwartz in his Internal Family Systems literature.

The concept is simple but deep - we are all made up of different parts... many of those parts were formed during times of trauma, with the purpose of protecting us. However, when we move beyond those traumatic (usually younger) times, it is no longer necessary for those parts to drive, but sometimes, when we're triggered, they do.

Parts Work, or IFS focuses on compassion and the idea that the mind is not a single entity, but rather multiple parts that interact with each other.

I've adapted this work as part of my TIDES program - encouraging women to think of their parts as a High Council, giving everyone a voice but always driven by their Highest Self. I'm excited to share this in a circle format and share our council with eachother.

What to Expect:

• Arrive, socialize and settle in
• I'll invite you into some nervous system regulation exercises (breathing, visualization, etc.)
• We'll talk about and reflect on our topic
• We'll share - this is the best part
• We'll ground ourselves
• Bring a journal and wear something cozy
