Spring POTLUCK at This Month’s Meeting! Each March and October, our society hosts a festive Potluck just prior to our monthly meeting. It is a wonderful time when our members can share their best recipes, exchange useful rose information and catch up on family adventures. We also can meet new members and share rose ideas with them. This month our potluck will start at 6:15 p.m. on March 16th.
Please bring your delicious dishes according to the leading letter of your last name as indicated in the chart below. Homemade dishes are always the best! Please bring a dish large enough to feed 8 persons. Also please bring serving utensils and your own plates, napkins and utensils. If you are bringing a homemade dish it is helpful to bring a small piece of paper or index card with the name of the dish you are bringing. It is also helpful to those with dietary restrictions to note if the dish is vegetarian or gluten-free.

After the potluck please enjoy our presentation at 7:15 PM which will be another Roundtable discussion about roses with our expert Consulting Rosarians which has become a very popular event with our members. This month Robert and Kristine Russell will also present guidelines for the 2026 Little Rose Show. This fun competition gives members a chance to show off their blooms. It also gives members a chance to exhibit their rose photography and arrangement skills. During our Roundtable presentation Ruth Tiffany will talk about fragrant roses for your garden, Zella Burk will discuss choosing the best roses for your garden and when to say goodbye to those not performing at their best, and Bill and Elaine Ornelas will discuss the valuable use of companion plants that enrich our rose gardens and help with pest control.
