About this Event
The March Madness of Chinese Cuisine is a just-for-fun attempt at crowning our favorite Chinese (and/or Chinese “inspired”) Dish!
Structured in a single elimination bracketed tournament format, 32 of our favorite Chinese dishes will go head-to-head in audience-decided battles. The winner of each round will move on to face the winners of the other brackets until an ultimate winner is crowned.
This tournament is presented by the Worst Quality Crab and InfatuAsian podcasts and will be hosted in-person at On Waverly in San Francisco’s Chinatown and simultaneously streamed live on Zoom on March 22nd 2025, 6-7PM.
ABOUT OUR HOSTS:
Curtis Chinn is a 5th Generation San Franciscan, going back to the 1850's. He currently teaches biology at Galileo High School and produces and hosts the InfatuAsian Podcast which is a show that aims to elevate and celebrate Asian culture and creators.
Freesia and Samson Lee are the literal mom & pop duo behind Worst Quality Crab. Freesia is a 5th generation San Franciscan, occasional leadership & life coach, and does all things press-related for the Asian Art Museum. Samson is originally from New York, still quietly clings onto his East Coast bias, and has worked in the Ad-Tech industry for many, many years. When not working or podcasting, they are trying to cultivate food traditions new and old with their three young daughters.
