Auckland Longsword presents March Hares, two days of historical fencing in Auckland.Saturday (Noon-Late) will feature a couple of tiered longsword competitions, judged by international instructors, with the weapons provided (SIGI Light feders).
The "Rabbits" tier will be open to fencers who do not currently have a HEMA Rating, while the "Hares" tier will be open to fencers with a HEMA Rating below 1400.

Both competitions will consist of pools, after which all fencers will go through to a direct elimination bracket.
Sunday (10-4) will feature two longsword workshops, presented by overseas instructors.

This event is hosted by Auckland Longsword, and participants are expected to behave according to our club’s Code of Conduct at the event and associated social activities.
