March Happiness Hour

Parenting for a Different World (PDW) invites you back to Yoga Barn to practice healthy and effective coping strategies and relaxation techniques. This free discussion and demonstration of breath control, meditation methods, and key yoga poses can help people of all ages face daily challenges or stress while they improve focus, reduce anxiety, and enhance overall well-being.

Studies show that many youth lack proper coping skills. PDW is pleased to offer our second Happiness Hour event. Learn healthy strategies and effective approaches to handling life's daily challenges. This event is open to all parents/caregivers and youth middle school age and above. Parents may come with or without their children (pre-teens and teens). Students (pre-teens and teens) should be accompanied by adults.

The event is free but registration is required. Space is limited. Register today! Bring your mat if possible. We will have a limited number of loaner mats on-hand.

PDW thanks the Yoga Barn! This workshop will be led by instructor Heather Gwaltney. Heather teaches vigorous, fun, yet accessible flow to adults and children. She has found her calling in empowering students to feel a radiant sense of confidence through their practice. Heather is also a health and nutrition coach.

This free event will feature both seminar and movement and rest/relaxation techniques focused on stress management and detoxifying thoughts. Our Happiness Hour is a refreshing way to kick off your weekend with healthy thoughts and tips to carry you through springtime and beyond!
