Join us this March as Christine Tamburri takes the spotlight to share all about Divers Atlas!Divers Atlas was built by divers, for divers. It is a global database of dive sites, and its interactive features allow users to submit or change information to help other divers gain access to all of the information needed to plan dives. From location detail to accessibility tips to 3D models and everything in between, Divers Atlas exists to preserve any and all information pertaining to dive sites in one comprehensive, free-to-access space.
Christine Tamburri began her diving career in the cold quarries of Pennsylvania, where early exploration and documentation projects sparked a passion for research and education. That path led her to Divers Alert Network, where she served as Risk Mitigation Coordinator, developing training programs and safety resources for divers worldwide. She co-founded Divers Atlas and serves as a Director, working to build a living, crowdsourced record of dive sites, history, and exploration. Based in Crystal River, Florida, Christine teaches with Dive911, dives caves on a KISS Sidewinder, and has completed over 200 safe cave dives.
We’ll start gathering at 6:30 PM so you can eat, drink, and connect with fellow divers. We’ll kick off the meeting at 7:15 PM with announcements, then hear from our guest speaker. We hope to see you there in person! Can’t make it? You’re welcome to join us on Teams.
