Saturday, March 11th, 2023 11am-2pm
You are invited to our Block Party! Join us at Carlingwood Shopping Centre for the launch party of our March Break Fun Zone Series! Come build Lego artwork, meet superheroes, get a cool airbrush tattoo, and some tasty treats from Kernels Popcorn and Loblaws! Fun for all ages.
Monday, March 13th, 2023 10am-2pm
For day one of our March Break Fun Zone Series, come to Carlingwood Shopping Centre and meet some animals and enjoy some science experiments! 11am-12pm, come check out Little Ray’s Reptiles bringing in Nature’s Ninja’s, animals that have instincts like a real Ninja! From 1pm-2pm, Come check Mad Science and their show Up, Up, & Away! Learn all about the air around you and how it affects the world around you! And every day from 10am-2pm, come join us at the Soft Play area for children 0-5 years of age (across from Scotiabank). Treats provided by Rexall!
Tuesday, March 14th, 2023 10am-2pm
For day two of our March Break Fun Zone Series, come to Carlingwood Shopping Centre for a day of music and Frozen fun! 10am-11am, come see the Monkey Rock Band and participate in their live music show. Then from 1pm-2pm, our good friends are visiting! Come meet the The Snow Queen, and her silly talking snowman pal! And every day from 10am-2pm, come join us at the Soft Play area for children 0-5 years of age (across from Scotiabank). Treats provided by Booster Juice!
Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 10am-2pm
For day three of our March Break Fun Zone Series, come to Carlingwood Shopping Centre for a day of animal fun! 11am-12pm, come check out Diversity of Living Things with Little Ray’s Reptiles. Learn about all types of reptiles, mammals, and invertebrates from many ecosystems from all over the world! At 1pm-2pm, learn some bird calls in an interactive show with Bob Volks from the Gilligallou Bird store in Almonte. Paint a birdhouse for your backyard (for the first 50 children), pick up some bird seed and visit the displays from the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Centre. And every day from 10am-2pm, come join us at the Soft Play area for children 0-5 years of age (across from Scotiabank). Treats provided by Laura Secord!
Thursday, March 16th, 2023 10am-2pm
For day four of our March Break Fun Zone Series, come to Carlingwood Shopping Centre for a day of both science and magic! 10am-11am, come check out Mad Science for a day of Fire and Ice! Learn all the cool things both elements can do. At 1pm-2pm, see magic and wonder as Kevin Smith the Magician will perform wonder before your eyes! And every day from 10am-2pm, come join us at the Soft Play area for children 0-5 years of age (across from Scotiabank). Treats provided by Kernels!
Friday, March 17th, 2023 10am-2pm
For our last day of March Break Fun Zone Series, come to Carlingwood Shopping Centre to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Junkyard Symphony will be with us for two shows, 11am-12pm and 1pm-2pm. Enjoy exciting eco-entertainment promoting the four R's of waste reduction. These super shows are full of radical rhythms, crazy circus tricks, lots of laughter, and fantastic fun for all ages. And every day from 10am-2pm, come join us at the Soft Play area for children 0-5 years of age (across from Scotiabank). Treats provided by Dollarama!
