In this workshop, you will learn how to mix colors and make color swatches using acrylic paint. We will be using real pansies to inspire our art, loosely sketching our flowers and then painting them on salvaged fabric!A fun way to practice sketching, painting, and using recycled materials. I will provide denim and a variety of fabrics with different weights and textures to use as our substrate. We will also have an assortment of spring images to use for additional little paintings, such as tulips, birds, rabbits, and nests.
I'll provide examples and materials. Sign up with a friend or come and make new ones! My classes are designed to bring people together to create. Perfect for beginners on up—acrylic paint is very forgiving, and it is a fun medium to explore!
