March 27, 2025 - Tours in French Language - National Museum of African Art

The Alliance Française of Washington DC is pleased to partner, once again, with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art to organize these guided tours in French as part of the month long DC Francophonie Festival.

The tours will include highlights of the museum’s current exhibitions, with special attention to artists from Francophone Africa. Participants in the tour are assured a diverse group of works and historical time periods.

These tours are free, but registration is mandatory.

The 1 ½ hour tours will take place throughout the festival on the following dates:

Saturday: March 1 st, 8 th,15 th, 22 nd and 29th: 1pm-2:30pm

Sunday: March 2 nd, 9 th, 16 th, 23rd , and 30th : 1pm -2:30 pm

Thursday: March 6 th, 13 th, 20 th, and 27th 1pm -2:30pm

Your guide will meet you at the Reception Desk on the Ground Level.
