March 10 - ECCO & Nicholas Phan

The East Coast Chamber Orchestra (ECCO) brings together “the transparency and coherence of a string quartet with an orchestra’s warmth and heft” (New York Times), an effect that is “pure magic” (Broad Street Review). They partner with “one of the world’s most remarkable singers” (Boston Globe), tenor Nicholas Phan, for Benjamin Britten’s dazzling Les Illuminations, also performing William Grant Still’s lively Panamanian dances, Hanna Benn’s heartfelt Where Springs Not Fail, and modern classic Shaker Loops by John Adams.
