Location: Wolcott Keeper's House & Marblehead Lighthouse State ParkUnearth a Story at Marblehead Peninsula Branch Library for Summer Reading 2026!
Join us for a two-part program exploring the story of the Marblehead Lighthouse. We'll begin at the Wolcott Keeper's House for an orientation and tour of the house.
Then we'll travel around the tip of the Peninsula to the Marblehead Lighthouse State Park (110 Lighthouse Drive). We'll join an ODNR park naturalist to hear about the history of the Marblehead Lighthouse, followed by a tour of the tower. If time allows, we'll take a short walk over to the park's new quarry exhibit.
This off-site program will require transportation between the venues. Please note that both sites require walking up steps (77 steps to the upper deck of the lighthouse).
No registration required.
