As his 50th wedding anniversary approaches, an elderly man returns to Vienna to honor a promise he and his wife made when they were first married. Unfortunately, while in Vienna, he experiences a distressing loss.

Kevin and Cassandra (UK) 55 Minutes

Kevin & Cassandra are a married couple who have just lost their own child Hannah in a freak car accident. They both raised her differently. Kevin had been a traditional parent, Cassandra a permissive one. When Hannah decided to exhibit her body and mind online, she cut adrift from her father and gravitated towards her mother. Her death occurs whilst she is still estranged from her father.

After their daughter's wake ends, their living room becomes a battlefield where incendiary words and spiteful things are said. Their marriage has become one where opposites no longer attract. Kevin is filled with loathing for his in-laws, his daughter's boyfriend, himself. Cassandra wears her daughter's favorite scarlet colors with pride and exhibits her paintings on the walls. Kevin finds he is powerless in his own home and Cassandra mocks the fact that it was her father who bought it. And when he finally leaves, he leaves Cassandra forever.

As the woman in red embarks on her solitary journey, through the meandering streets of Venice, where reality blurs, danger lurks in the shadows, and the city itself holds secrets beyond imagination, an unsettling hush envelops the city, disguising its true nature. The picturesque facade of an empty Venice conceals the hidden dangers of the Venetian labyrinth, used as metaphor for a global climate problem.
