Join us for a guided trail running adventure through the beautiful and rugged trails of New Hampshire's Belknap State Forest. Whether you're looking to trade pavement for dirt for the first time or you're an experienced trail runner looking to explore somewhere new, this field trip is designed to make trail running fun, accessible, and social.
We'll provide transportation from Boston, experienced trail guides, product demos, lunch, and everything you need for a great day on the trails.
Getting There
Choose the option that works best for you:
Option 1: Coach Bus from Boston
Meet at: ASICS Run Shop
299 Newbury Street, Boston, MA
- 7:15 AM – Check-in
- 7:30 AM – Bus departs (please arrive on time)
- Bus amenities include charging outlets, restrooms, water, snacks, and Therabody Recovery Boots.
- Return bus departs the trailhead at approximately 3:00 PM and arrives back in Boston around 5:15 PM.
Option 2: Meet at the Trailhead
Meet us at Belknap State Forest (exact meeting location will be emailed to participants) by 9:30 AM.
The Run
This is a trail running experience—not a race. We'll keep the group together, stop at scenic viewpoints, and encourage a conversational pace while enjoying the mountains.
The course is approximately:
- 4.8 miles
- 1,463 feet of elevation gain
Expect rocky, technical terrain with both steep climbs and descents. Hiking portions of the climbs is completely normal and encouraged.
Our experienced trail guides, sweepers, and course markings will ensure everyone stays on route and has a safe, enjoyable experience.

What to Bring
Essentials
- Running clothes appropriate for the weather
- Running shoes (trail shoes are recommended, but demo shoes will be available)
- Extra pair of dry shoes and socks for after the run
Recommended
- Running vest, belt, or pack for carrying your phone, nutrition, and water
- Nutrition (gels, chews, etc.)
- Anti-chafe product (Body Glide or similar)
- Lightweight windbreaker or extra layer
